Q: How long have you been an HVAC Professional?
A: I've been in the HVAC industry for over 40 years.
Q: What was the first job you ever had?
A: I worked for my father in what is now Lambert Heating & Air Conditioning. I started at 17 years old.
Q: What is the most satisfying aspect of your work?
A: Happy customers. I've always been a people person, and seeing customers satisfied is the best part.
Q: Explain what you do in five words or less.
A: Service and replace air-conditioning systems.
Q: What money (or career) advice do you wish you could give your 18-year-old self?
A: Put your full trust in the Lord, not in your own wisdom. Keep Him at the center of everything, and He will faithfully lead and guide you.
Q: Where do you see your industry heading in the next 10 years?
A: Heating and air-conditioning systems will continue to become more efficient, with technology playing a bigger role in energy use and comfort.
Q: If you could give your clients only one piece of advice, what would it be?
A: Maintain your AC systems.
Q: What big projects do you have coming up in the next 12-months either personally or professionally?
A: We see ourselves continuing to serve more and more residential customers.
Q: Why should someone choose a CPA instead of doing their own work?
A: Because doing taxes on your own risks mistakes and missed savings. When my father first started the business, a CPA showed him he saved $500 doing it himself - but missed $5,000. Since then, we've always trusted a CPA.

A: HVAC systems are complex and safety critical. A licensed pro makes sure the work is safe and done right. DIY jobs often create bigger problems - we're regularly called to fix them, and they usually end up costing homeowners more.

A: Mountains -- though I enjoy all three.

A: Church, Bible study, and playing piano.
